Optimisation of the body snatchers

They invade our space armed with some intelligence, a mouse, and an itchy index finger. Click - copy - paste...they have cloned you and replicated you over and over again.

Content is king but content can be kidnapped. Imitation and copying is flattering but in a corporate world it is totally annoying. Your text and thoughts begin to reverberate in the big echo chamber (Internet) but the sound coming from the lips of the words are from a different voice – not your voice.

Get your site optimised create more content. Write an article that could irritate and grab the attention of people. Try writing articles that give tips and guides to other web users. Writing articles that give good advice and hints to other people will provide you with the content that will give you more mileage and increase your traffic flow.

Most websites suffer from unoriginality; they belong to the herd of mediocrity and banality. Write a controversial blog or web page, you can bet a few minutes later, a thousand bloggers are parodying it with their unique take on the concept. Get the solo part in the choir - at least for a short while. It seems like new information is discovered about something every day or is it just a facsimile of something we have read before. Click - copy – paste. Click - copy – paste. Click - copy – paste. Click - copy – paste etc.

Are you having problems being seen by the major search engines? - Do you type in your name and not even appear on page three? The simple reason for this might be that they don’t know you even exist.

The most efficient way (we have found) to get noticed is to place a simple xml site map onto your site and then physically submit the page(s) to the major players.

Yes there are other important steps to take - the mysterious ‘Search Engine Optimisation’ but even so you still have to be visible in the first place.
We will create an xml sitemap (example) and a simple html sitemap (example) and then submit your site to Google - we use a none automated piece of software so we know it gets to the right place.

Sitemap Service for £2.50 - site map generator

When we have received your payment we will send you a zip file (which you need to unzip) with all the site map files/images you need to upload to your server. Only upload the files and images and not the folder. These files and images must be placed in your root directory so that the url is www.yourownsite.whatever/sitemap.html (and .xml). When you have done this email us back to say it is done and we will submit it to Google.
