Sex Sells - Seashells and Site Maps

For some women sexuality is their most powerful tool, their sexuality is used to get ahead in life, a bargaining tool to make more money or to get what they want....

In reality men still hold the power, we define what is attractive and what sells - that is how marketing works. We are weak we can't resist great tits and a nice ass. Whose fault is this? Women validate our weakness by willingly displaying them.

Would a conch shell sell male grooming products better than open crotch panties, or a clam shell sell fast cars better than an amature cam girl?

Call me weird but I find site maps more erotic than beavers or mussels.

She sells seashells on the seashore;
The shells that she sells are seashells I'm sure.
So if she sells seashells on the seashore,
I'm sure that the shells are seashore shells.

Coping With Creativity?

I think everybody is creative in their day to day lives - it is just that some of us are pseudo intellectual about it, no body is creatively unique - but a lot of us think we are.

What’s it really like living with creativity? Look back over the years at the tortured artists, drunken writers and drug-crazed musicians who litter our heritage and you might start to ask the question: is creativity a blessing or a curse?...the temptation to contain creativity and make it conform to 'the norm' is what normally happens in businesses. You can't have a random, inspired, maverick shooting off left right and center - this is chaos....or is it?

Juggling with creativity, trying to make it fit into your daily life is a logistical nightmare. In an interview I did with Claire Barker, an artist, illustrator, author, mother, wife, farmer, she explained to me how she talked to the solicitor of the estate of Ted Hughes (UK poet) to get their permission to use one of his poems and still managed to deliver lambs.

Can a creative person ever be truly happy as they constantly strive for perfection in their chosen art? Listen to an interview with Garry Smout, who talks about the problems of using early portable black and white video cameras in the 1970’s, pioneering literary review website the Barcelona Review, early synths and how to kill your babies. The problem with being creative is that everything has to be pushed to the limits.

Creativity is something we are all born with to greater or lesser degrees. It is a vital part of our physiological make up and development. We learn to play and fantasize as children, skills we carry forward into our adulthood. However, if creativity takes hold of your entire existence then it becomes a disease that is parasitic, eating away at your whole world. It might sound melodramatic but creativity can become a cancer of the body or the trigger for psychotic episodes.

Listen to Alisha, a doctor, a GP who is also a poet. I try to find out if creativity is a madness, a disease, an anesthetic or a poison but find out that maybe it could be a ‘Zebra’. Does she use creativity in diagnosis and consultation?

Sometimes I’m not sure how to cope with my creativity, all I know is I have to continue living this YO-YO lifestyle because that is how I work best....read/listen to more.

When is a list not a list?

...the postman arrived and I have sat here for the past hour or so thumbing through and reading the pages. It was a great relief to find out that I could still read the printed word - my dependence on visual and aural spoon fed pap via MySpace has been cured. The logical cataloguing of this tome is a truly important achievement and it is a relief to be able to find something (in alphabetical order) easily. The only warning I must give is - beware of the photographs, there are some ugly mugs in there. I have digested this digest and feel replete although I'm sure I will tuck in for seconds later…Job well done.

This book Music to Die For is a bit like a sitemap - clearly listed, easy to read, no dead ends, a joy.

Sitemaps are an easy way for webmasters to inform search engines about the pages on their sites, listing those that are available for crawling. Just like the navigation system in your car (providing it is up to date). A simplistic explanation of a Sitemap is that it is an XML file that is a list of URLs from a web site, written down in a method and a language that search engines can more easily understand, consequently this allows them to intelligently crawl the website, discovering new pages from links within the site and from other sites. This process is a bit like picking up a hitchhiker blindfolded, you never know who you might pick up, an old man, a young girl, a murderer, a celebrity crash victim or your mother, you do however learn about the new acquaintance after you have exchanged dialogue and learnt more about them. Web crawlers do this by gathering additional information (metadata) about each URL -when it was last updated, how often it usually changes, and how important it is relative to other URLs within the site etc.

Let us make you a site map

Have you tried Amazon mp3 downloads?

Have you tried buying mp3s from Amazon?

Amazon MP3 offers millions of songs and albums from your various artists in most genres. The downloads are all in MP3 format, which means they can play on any digital media player. Songs from Amazon MP3 can be played on any MP3-capable device, including iPods™, Zunes™, Zens™, iPhones™, RAZRs™, BlackBerrys™, and most media-enabled mobile phones.

The downloaded tracks are free of DRM (digital rights management) software, which means you can, play them on all your computers, transfer them to all your mp3 compatable devices, and burn your songs to CDs. Songs are encoded at high quality 256 kbps - sounds like a good deal to me.

Are you having problems being seen by the major search engines? - Do you type in your name and not even appear on page three? The simple reason for this might be that they don’t know you even exist.

The most efficient way (we have found) to get noticed is to place a simple xml site map onto your site and then physically submit the page(s) to the major players.

Yes there are other important steps to take - the mysterious ‘Search Engine Optimisation’ but even so you still have to be visible in the first place.
We will create an xml sitemap (example) and a simple html sitemap (example) and then submit your site to Google - we use a none automated piece of software so we know it gets to the right place.

Sitemap Service for £2.50 - site map generator

When we have received your payment we will send you a zip file (which you need to unzip) with all the site map files/images you need to upload to your server. Only upload the files and images and not the folder. These files and images must be placed in your root directory so that the url is www.yourownsite.whatever/sitemap.html (and .xml). When you have done this email us back to say it is done and we will submit it to Google.
